LI TRUST handled the transfer of the master file for this re-release, securely delivering the digitally restored UHD master from the rights holder to the Chinese distributor. As one of the most important works in cinema history, 2001: A Space Odyssey is governed by extremely strict rights management, and every step of the transfer had to comply with the rights holder's security protocol requirements.
