The essence of heaven and earth gave birth to the Primordial Pearl, a massive ball of energy. The Primordial Lord of Heaven refined it into a Spirit Pearl and a Demon Pill. The Spirit Pearl was destined to be reborn as a human and play a key role in helping King Wu overthrow the Shang dynasty. The Demon Pill, however, would spawn a demon king and wreak havoc on the world.
