Writer Yukio (Etsushi Toyokawa) is consumed by his work, and the once simple, loving bond with his wife Moe (Tomoko Yamaguchi) slowly frays. Without him even noticing, the distance between them grows until one day, Yukio is startled to find that Moe has been tying up everything in the house with rope — and she often tries to tie herself up too. Realizing something is seriously wrong, he takes her to a doctor, who diagnoses a mental condition with no medical cure: "Compulsive Binding Syndrome." The only thing Yukio can do, it seems, is to bind her tightly with rope, just as she asks.
